BELLINGHAM - Western Washington University Libraries recently launched its "14 Days To Have Your Say" project, a blog running through May 21 intended to gather ideas, input, observations and discussions about what Western's libraries have to offer now and could or should offer in the future.
Anticipating the arrival of the new Dean of Libraries, Christopher Cox, Western Libraries wants to gather ideas and comments which will identify library users' issues and help set priorities for the coming year and beyond. The blog environment has been chosen with the hope that readers will engage in an open discussion and virtual brainstorming session about the Western Libraries and work together to develop and fine-tune ideas that will help the library staff and administrators better understand what the university community expects from it.
The blog can be accessed at www.library.wwu.edu/14days and requires a WWU universal login to participate.
