Sarah Clark-Langager
Dr. Sarah Clark-Langager, Western Gallery director and curator of the Outdoor Sculpture Collection, is an expert on 20th century art and has held educational and curatorial positions at major museums on both the East and West Coasts. She has a Ph.D. in art history from City University of New York.
Western Gallery
The Western Gallery acts as a center for the display, discussion and exchange of ideas on critical issues in contemporary art from our region and from the national and international art scene. Exhibits, which offer a variety of artistic styles in many different mediums, change frequently.
The Western Gallery is located in the Fine Arts Complex on Western’s campus and is open from September to June when classes are in session. Regular hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 12 noon to 4 p.m. The gallery is open for extended hours on Wednesdays, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free.

Outdoor Sculpture Collection
Western is home to the internationally acclaimed Outdoor Sculpture Collection, which features works by the foremost contemporary artists. For a brochure with information, including a map, visit the Western Gallery (see hours listed above) or inquire at the Visitor Information Center, which is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays.
