Committees offer opportunities to serve our community

A number of vacancies on city boards, commissions and committees offer Bellingham citizens opportunities to serve their community.

Candidates for these positions must be current residents of the State of Washington, and have been so for at least three (3) years; must presently live within Bellingham City limits and have done so for at least two (2) years, unless otherwise specified; and be a registered voter and a U.S. Citizen.

Anyone with an interest in serving may pick up an application from the Mayor's office at City Hall, 210 Lottie Street, Second Floor, or print one from City's website at: http://www.cob.org/government/public/boards-commissions/index.aspx

The advisory groups listed below have vacancies as of Feb. 3, 2010.  Some vacancies have additional requirements, such as professional membership or expertise in a particular area.
