Armed robbery reported in Sehome Arboretum

Bellingham Police were called to a reported armed robbery Thursday evening at about 5:00 p.m. The victim, a 20 year old WWU student called police from his cell phone to report he had just been robbed. He told police that he was walking on a trail in the Sehome Arboretum when two males approached him, one produced a hand gun the other a knife. The victim said that the suspects took his backpack. He was not injured during the incident.

Bellingham police officers, including K-9 and Bike Officers searched the area. University Police also assisted in the search. The suspects were not located. 

The suspects are described as white males in their 20’s, 5'10" with average builds, they were both wearing hooded sweatshirts.
