Samish Way drug raids result in four arrests

Bellingham (WA) On 01-15-2014, detectives from the Bellingham Police Department Special Investigations Unit (SIU) served two narcotics search warrants on Samish Way.  This was the result of a multi-week investigation into drug activity in this portion of the Sehome Neighborhood.

SIU was assisted by several additional BPD personnel.  The search warrants were served at the Aloha Motel located at 315 N. Samish Way, and the Villa Inn located at 212 N. Samish Way.  Narcotics, to include heroin, were located in both locations along with digital scales and packaging material indicative of drug sales. 

Four Bellingham residents were arrested, to include the following:

William Diaz, 10-23-1962 , of 315 N. Samish Way, Bellingham - Arrested for four counts of delivery of a controlled substance (heroin).

Efrain Suarez, 09-19-1969, of 1107 S. 30th St. Mount Vernon, Wa. - Arrested for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance (heroin) and possession of a controlled substance (heroin).

Diane R. Papetti, 09-14-1966, of 2500 Samish Way, Bellingham - Arrested for two counts of possession of a controlled substance (heroin and suboxone) as well as unrelated warrants.

Harvey William Fox III, 03-12-1989, of 1440 Lowe Avenue, Bellingham - Arrested for three warrants unrelated to the drug investigations.
