The City of Bellingham Parks and Recreation Department will host the first of three public meetings on Oct. 16, a chance for people to learn about and participate in the development of the Cornwall Beach Park Master Plan.
This first public meeting will be held 7-8:30 p.m. Oct. 16 in City Council Chambers at Bellingham City Hall, 210 Lottie Street.
The purpose of this meeting is to gather ideas from the public as well as present information about the site and potential opportunities for future development. This project is a priority for public access to the waterfront, and to help meet the objectives of the 2008 Parks Recreation Open space (PRO) plan. This project is funded with $100,000 in Park Impact Fees.
