Drug Dealer Ousted from Low Income Housing Building

BELLINGHAM, WA-- Bellingham Police Special Investigations Detectives (SIU) arrested a resident of Chuckanut Square Apartments, 1400 12th Street, on drug related charges Thursday August 15.  Chuckanut Square Apartments provides low income housing and is owned by the Bellingham Housing Authority.  SIU detectives received many complaints that a resident of the apartments was selling methamphetamine, marijuana and numerous other prescription pills to residents and non-residents of the building.  Detectives arranged for a confidential informant (CI) to purchase drugs from the suspect. The CI did contact the suspect and after a short conversation was sold Hydrocodone, Diazepam, Amphetamine, Dextro Amphetamine and Marijuana.  Detectives made contact with the suspect arrested him and booked him into the Whatcom County Jail.  The Housing Authority served an immediate 3 day eviction notice on him as well.

David M. Farmer 8/13/1951 was booked for 4, counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance; and 1 count of Delivery of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.
