Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 pm pst this afternoon...
A strong pacific front moving through Western Washington this morning has brought periods of heavy snow and windy conditions to the Olympics and North and Central cascades. Moist and unstable Westerly flow today will continue to support heavy snowfall into the afternoon hours. Snow accumulations of 1 to 2 feet are Possible by late this afternoon with heaviest accumulations along the west facing slopes. Gusty winds are likely to produce areas of blowing and drifting snow with reduced visibility.

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means significant snowfall is occurring or imminent. Significant amounts of snow will make travel hazardous. Only travel in an emergency. If you must...keep flashlights...food...water...and blankets in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
