Cold Weather Hazards and Information
The National Weather Service has issued a forecast for subfreezing weather extending into next week.The Whatcom County Health Department is working with the Division of Emergency Management, the City of Bellingham Office of Emergency Management, and the Mt. Baker Chapter of the American Red Cross to notify the public of the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning from improper indoor heating, as well as other hazards.
