Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 2 pm this afternoon to 6 am pst Saturday...
The national weather service in Seattle has issued a Wnter Weather advisory for snow over the cascades...which is in effect From 2 pm this afternoon to 6 am pst Saturday. The winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.
Colder air will filter into the region this afternoon dropping Snow levels below pass level. Snow showers will continue across the north and central cascades through most of tonight before tapering off by dawn Saturday.
Snowfall accumulations from late this afternoon through tonight will generally range from 6 to 10 inches with the higher amounts Around the volcanoes and in the vicinity or just north of Stevens Pass due to a weak convergence zone expected in that area.
