LOCATION: SR 20 from milepost 134 to milepost 171

OTHER: Avalanche conditions have stabilized, allowing crews to clear avalanches and snow from the highway. The North Cascades Highway had been closed since Saturday, Nov. 7, because of dangerous avalanche conditions.

The highway is now open to drivers.

Crews closed the road on Saturday, Nov. 7, because of dangerous avalanche conditions. Up to 3 feet of snow buried the highway and filled avalanche chutes.
