WSDOT will open North Cascades Highway Tuesday

DESCRIPTION: **UPDATE** SR 20, North Cascades Highway to reopen at 2 p.m.
LOCATION: SR 20 from milepost 134 to milepost 171 - 21 miles west of Winthrop, Okanogan County
START: November 7, 2009, 10:00 a.m.
Est. END: November 10, 2009, 2:00 p.m.
OTHER:  The North Cascades Highway has been closed since Saturday, Nov.7, because of dangerous avalanche conditions. Avalanche conditions have stabilized and crews will clear the highway of snow and reopen the road at 2 p.m. today.
