Whatcom County H1N1 Vaccine Call Center Closed at 3pm all appointments filled

BELLINGHAM, WA—Registration for H1N1 Vaccine Clinic appointments closed at 3:00 pm Friday October 30. Over 900 appointments were filled for a November 4 clinic in Bellingham. Appointments were filled by telephone and by the use of an on-line registration system.
Additional clinics will be announced on the Whatcom Pandemic Joint Information Center website at: www.em.whatcomcounty.org . The public is urged to check this site regularly for updates.
Check the health department web-page for general information about H1N1 or questions about vaccine availability at www.whatcomcounty.us/health/h1n1 . Please do not call medical provider offices for information on H1N1 vaccine availability or for general information about the flu.
The CDC reports that eventually all requests for the 2009 H1N1 vaccine will be filled, but due to the unprecedented level of demand, some communities may not receive the entire supply requested until late November.
