A little snow fell in the cascade passes today. Though the free air freezing level is well above the pass levels...brisk East winds brought cold air through the passes and precipitation fell In the form of snow.

When the next round of precipitation begins later tonight...similar conditions will prevail. A few inches of snow are likely In the passes beginning after midnight tonight.
