Urban Growth Areas (UGA) Meetings

Following Whatcom County Executive Pete Kremen's recommendation on Urban Growth Areas in Whatcom County, the public is now invited to provide input to the Whatcom County Council and Planning Commission.  Executive Kremen has also amended his recommendation regarding Birch Bay's Urban Growth Area.  For that change, and all the information regarding the Urban Growth Area Update, please visit the Whatcom 2031 web site at:  http://www.co.whatcom.wa.us/pds/2031/uga.jsp
 
County Council Planning and Development Committee Meetings, 3:00 p.m.
Oct. 13, Oct. 29, Nov. 10, Nov. 24
It is anticipated that the Committee will discuss the UGA review at each of these meetings until a final decision is made by the County Council
