A hurricane watch for Tropical Storm Edouard remains in effect for the Upper Texas Gulf Coast down to Port O'Connor, an area that includes Houston. Current predictions call for the center of the storm to be very near the coast of Southwestern Louisiana or the Upper Texas coast early Tuesday morning. Some increase in strength is expected and Edouard may reach hurricane status as it reaches the coastline.
