Bellingham, WA -- June 27, 2008 - Members of the Bellingham Angel Group, a group of early-stage investors, recently made an investment in networkText, a local start-up company that provides free group text messaging.

After networkText presented at the Bellingham Angels' February meeting, five members decided to invest in the company following a due diligence process.

"Obviously, the investment in us is very helpful and will allow us to grow our product and build out our team. But equally as important has been the advice we have received from them." Two Bellingham Angel Group members sit on the company's advisory board.

The Bellingham Angel Group meets six times per year, hearing presentations each meeting from regional early to mid-stage companies seeking funding.
